Monthly Immigration Workshop:
Extending Study Permit and Understanding "Maintained Status" (Virtual)


When does your study permit expire? Do you know what "maintained status" means? At this workshop, we will help you understand how you can apply to extend your study permit and why it’s important to apply early. Questions regarding Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) and co-op work permit are also welcomed.

Graduating International Student Experience (GISE)


Are you finishing your program this August? While it is exciting to think about graduation and your future, it is also important for you to get the information you need and take the necessary steps to ‘cross the finish line.’ In early July, all graduating international students will be emailed about the GISE program, including the access link. Don’t forget to go through the 7 steps in GISE by August 31, 2025. Questions?

GISE Workshop: LinkedIn and Networking: Pathways to Meaningful Connections (Virtual)

Through the GISE program, we will offer two career-focused workshops in collaboration with the Career Development Office. The first workshop will help you learn how to stand out on LinkedIn, one of the largest professional networking sites, and how to network and build meaningful connections when you are on the job hunt. All graduating international students are highly encouraged to register.
