June in Ontario is a wonderful time, with temperatures ranging from 12°C to 26°C (54°F to 79°F). The month is filled with festivals like the Sound of Music Festival and the Toronto Waterfront Festival, offering a taste of local culture.

June is also Pride Month, a global celebration of the history, resilience, and achievements of the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community. Ontario hosts vibrant Pride events, including the Toronto Pride Parade, which is one of the largest Pride festivals in the world. These celebrations honour inclusivity, diversity, respect, and equality, bringing together people from all walks of life.

Pride Durham: Events take place at Arbour Park in Durham Region on June 7, 2025.

It's also a great time to explore the outdoors, with plenty of opportunities for hiking and visiting natural attractions like Niagara Falls.

National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21 is the focal point, and celebrations and events honouring Indigenous cultures take
place throughout the entire month of June in Ontario, National Indigenous History Month. Learn more and take part in events and celebrations here at DC: Lunch and Learn screenings
