Monthly Immigration Workshop: Extending Study Permit and Maintained Status (In Person)
When does your study permit expire? Do you know what "maintained status" means? At this workshop, we will help you understand how you can apply to extend your study permit. Questions regarding Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) and co-op work permit are also welcomed. This is an in-person workshop with limited capacity.

Would you like to spice up your cooking skills by learning and sharing a tasty, affordable and healthy meal with others? Do you want to know tips on where and how to save money grocery shopping, or become aware of food supports on and off campus? Bright and Merry Market
The City of Oshawa’s Bright and Merry Market and Tree-lighting combines traditional tree-lighting with a festive holiday market. It kicks off the holiday season in Oshawa and precedes the Santa Claus parade. To make this a true community event, the event is held in the heart of Oshawa and invite community partners to provide activities, demonstrations and entertainment for guests. The holiday season atmosphere is palpable with seasonal decorations, lighting displays, carol singers, live entertainment, buskers, holiday music, Santa Claus in his igloo and a festive hop-on, hop-off trolley that tours the downtown area. This free family friendly event creates memories for families year after year.
